You're in the right place...

Why aren't more students showing up at your church?

You know the feeling, don't you?
It's that STUCK feeling.

One youth pastor told me that it feels like he's spinning his wheels week after week.
He's trying his best, but his ministry isn't getting any traction.

Does this sound familiar...

New students aren't coming.
And the usual students are coming less.
It's so frustrating because you want to get somewhere.
You want to accomplish something.
You want to make a difference.

That's why you're a youth pastor!

When more students aren't showing up you get frustrated.
You have no stories to share in staff meetings.
You smile and say things are going good,
but you know they're not as good as they could be.
You begin to doubt your calling to ministry.
You start looking for openings at other churches.
Surely that's the answer.

But it's not.

Better Youth Ministry is for you.

Because I help youth pastors create irresistible environments so they can reach more students.

Who Am I?

I'm Trevor Hamaker. I’ve worked on staff at small, traditional churches and large, contemporary churches. I also spent five years working for a multi-million dollar staffing company. Those experiences have given me a unique perspective that can help you create momentum, reach students, and grow faith in your ministry.

I've worked as a youth pastor at 3 churches:

1. A new church plant that met in a school.

2. A small, traditional church that is over 100 years old.

3. A large church that is a strategic partner of North Point Ministries.

Each situation has had different opportunities and challenges, but each of those student ministries tripled in attendance under my leadership because I narrowed my focus to 5 things.

5 Things to Grow Your Ministry

These are the 5 things that will help your ministry grow:

1. Place

The place where students meet must be appealing to students.

2. Preaching

The way you teach must be helpful for students.

3. Programs

The things you do must be engaging for students.

4. People

The volunteers you lead must be passionate about students.

5. Promotion

The way you get the word out must be relevant for students.
